With ChatGPT blowing up over the past year, it seems like every person and their grandmother is launching an AI startup.
There are a plethora of AI tools available, some excellent and some less so. Amid this flood of new technology, there are a few hidden gems that I personally find incredibly useful, having reviewed them for my AI directory.
Here are the ones I have personally integrated into my workflow in both my professional and entrepreneurial life:
Plus AI for Google Slides

It helps you improve your slides. It suggests edits and uses data from websites for your presentations. It’s free and works as a plugin for Google Slides and Docs.
My AskAI

It’s a ChatGPT tool trained on your files. Great if you have many documents. It doesn’t make many mistakes and gives you accurate answers. It shows the source of the answers. The basic plan is free, but I like the $20/month plan because it allows more content.
Krater.ai

This tool combines many AI tools in one app. It has templates for copywriting, text to speech, and image generator. It’s easier to use than other tools. It gives 10 free generations a month.
HARPA AI

A good GPT add-on for Chrome. This tool provides GPT-based responses on search engines, offers interactive chatting capabilities with web pages, and can condense YouTube videos into summaries. It also includes templates for crafting emails and creating social media posts. It’s completely free.
Taskade

It’s an all-in-one tool for productivity. This platform features tasks, notes, mind maps, and chat functions, all supported by an AI assistant. It seamlessly synchronizes across your team, providing diverse views to aid in visualizing the scope of work.. I like the AI ‘mind map.’ The free version is good.
Zapier + OpenAI

Combines Zapier’s integrations with AI. I use it to automate tasks, like creating tasks on Notion from Slack messages or writing reply drafts from Gmail emails. It’s free for the main features.
SaneBox

It uses AI to manage emails. It finds important emails and puts them in the right folders. Non-important emails go to a folder called SaneLater. It doesn’t read the contents of your emails. It has a feature called “Deep Clean” to delete old emails. It’s not free but has a 2-week trial.
Hexowatch AI

It tracks changes on websites. I use it for my AI tools directory. It alerts me of any changes on the websites. It sends alerts via email or Slack/Telegram/Zapier. It’s not free but worth the cost.
SongsLike X

It finds similar songs. You enter a song and it makes a Spotify playlist with similar songs. It’s better than Spotify’s feature.
While it’s clear that not all of these tools may be directly applicable to your needs, I believe that simply being aware of the range of options available can be greatly beneficial. This knowledge can broaden your perspective on what’s possible and potentially inspire new ideas.
