Eric Adam added that the authorities plan to employ almost 800 officers to ensure the safest environment and for instant help availability to citizens if anything crucial happens. And following on AI-Powered Gun Detection on Subway, he said they plan to test technology that utilizes high-end AI techniques to detect weapons in any area. They have plans to employ it mainly in Subway.
