Apple’s CEO Mr. Tim Cook has recently confirmed introducing Generative AI Features in iOS 18 along with other devices.
Interestingly, Apple has been in talks for the past few months due to its focus on GenAI features. And the rumors about Siri 2.0 have made it even more exciting for its users.
All the hype was already indicating the company’s intentions towards AI innovations.
And now, in the middle of Apple’s quarterly earnings call, Tim Cook mentioned “AI” thrice, raising curiosity across social media.
He hinted that they are planning to introduce Generative AI Features in iOS 18 later this year (anytime in the last quarter of 2024)

The recent appearances by Apple’s team, clearly show the company’s determination. They are constantly working on integrating AI technology into their devices mainly operating systems.

Yet to keep their customers updated they have recently hinted about interesting features in iPhones, MacOS, and iPadOS by the end of 2024.
While being asked about details during recent interaction with the media, Tim Cook cleverly denied to respond to such queries. He shifted the questions to global tech evolvement and refused to talk about Apple’s future plans. Which obviously didn’t divert the media, but they had to respect the traditional policy of the company. However, he said;
“Let me just say that I think there’s a huge opportunity for Apple with generative AI and with AI, without getting into many more details or getting ahead of myself”.
On the other hand, the hype around iOS 18 is unreal. Millions of customers are looking forward to the device because as per the rumors, it will be the most extensive release of the Apple in its entire history. And Tim Cook’s statement somehow confirms these speculations.

“As we look ahead, we will continue investing in technologies shaping the future. That mainly includes AI, where we continue to spend a tremendous amount of time and effort, and we’re excited to share the details of our ongoing work in that space ‘later’ this year”.
