Well, the officials introduced their AI Assistant through a post made on a social media platform, “X,” which is mainly known as Twitter. They posted a short, crisp video where we can see a glimpse of features conducting summarizations. However, you can navigate it by;
- Opening up the Adobe Acrobat Interface
- Go next to the share button
- It is placed in the top right corner of the screen
- Press on the icon labeled under the “new” feature
- It will open up 4 options to choose from, including; “Chat”, “Bookmark”, “Generative Summary”, and “Menu”

In addition, it does not cater to PDFs only, but you can upload content in the form of transcripts, MS Word, PowerPoint, etc. Along with summarization, it reformats your content along with required headings. Plus, it adds citations so it can be feasible for users to navigate the reference and source of information/answers. Moreover, if you have any confusion, you can ask the bot on the spot, as it is capable enough to deal with AI-specific queries.

Whereas, to ensure the protection of data, the company says, “AI Assistant features in Reader and Acrobat are governed by data security protocols, and no customer document content is stored or used for training AI Assistant without their consent.”

As per the resources, it is currently available in beta. Hence, its a perfect time to avail these features if you are already a customer of Acrobat. Once it moves out of beta, it will be stated under a separate subscription to add-on.
